Kindergarten Registration Week, Jan. 13-17th, 2020

St. Jude Catholic School is now accepting new student registrations for September 2020! We invite parents to call the school to make an appointment to visit during Kindergarten Registration Week, which takes place January 13-17, or drop in during our Kindergarten Registration Open House on Thursday, January 16th from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Please visit the CDSBEO website registration page at for information on how to register your child.  We look forward to welcoming your child to Kindergarten!

St. Jude Spirit Wear!

It has been a few years since we’ve offered Spirit Wear. Beginning this week, December 4th, 2019, and in collaboration with Cole Solutions Limited, located in Long Sault, St. Jude will be offering Spirit Wear.

The following items will be available for purchase:

Baseball shirts, Hoodies, long sleeved T-shirts and T-shirts in all House colours. All items are available with our school logo. ONLY T-Shirts will be available in “House Colours”.

UPDATED – Town of Vankleek Hill Water Main Break – April 17, 2019

PLEASE NOTE: the Town of Vankleek Hill has experienced a water main break which is affecting the water supply to St. Jude Catholic School. The school has bottled water and hand sanitizer available to students. The issue with the break has not yet been resolved as of 1:15 p.m. Any parents who wish to pick up their child at school prior to dismissal are welcome to do so. Any students who are not picked up will be sent home at regular dismissal time, on their school bus.

Personal Support Worker Program

The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario would like to announce our upcoming Personal Support Worker program information sessions. Our next session will begin in September. To register go to and link to the PSW program, followed by clicking on Program Outline and Information/Registration Sessions.

Program information sessions are as follows;

Vankleek Hill on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at St. Jude Catholic Elementary School from 3- 4:00 Cornwall on Wednesday,  May 15, 2019 at Holy Trinity C.S.S from 2- 3:00 Brockville on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at St. Mary C.H.S from 3 – 4:00 Smiths Falls on Friday, May 17, 2019 at St. James Catholic Education Centre from 2- 3:00

Other programs that are offered through the CDSBEO for adult learners include:

OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprentice Program) including adult Meat Cutting Program in Cornwall, PLAR (Prior Learning and Assessment), Adult Dual Credits in affiliation with Algonquin College, St. Lawrence College and Loyalist College. Applications are due in May.
