Hello Cavalier Families

I would like to take this opportunity to share how much I have appreciated the welcome I have received here at St. Jude and in the whole community of Vankleek Hill and Hawkesbury. I feel truly blessed to have been given the responsibility of leadership of this wonderful school community. Thank you for the well wishes and blessings you have shared with me.

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year. In order to share all of our successes with our school community we have created a communication plan that I hope will be very effective.

Facebook will be updated frequently to share the daily successes we see here at St. Jude.

Our school website: stjude.cdsbeo.on.ca will be updated once a week with information for families about the events happening at St. Jude.

Every month, a school calendar and newsletter will be sent home to keep families aware of major events.

Communication lines are always open. If you have a concern, please email me directly at [email protected]. I will do my best to turn emails over within 24 hours and ensure your questions are answered and you feel as though your voice is heard.

We will be starting the hot lunch program next week. Information regarding school cashonline will be coming home shortly.

There will be a number of communication pieces going home. The monthly calendar, the welcome back letter, information from your child's class and other important piece of information. Please read everything carefully and send back all pertinent information.

Every week we will have a Good News Assembly on Teams. At this short virtual assembly, we will talk about the successes of the week and name our Student of the Week!
