Week at a Glance
November 4 – 8
Hello Parents
We had a wonderful Halloween week last week and we are looking forward to our move into November. This is the first time in a while that the website is being updated with the weekly goings-on at St. Jude and this will become a weekly thing. Please come to the website on Sunday evenings for what will be happening for the upcoming week.
Sacrament Prep – letters have gone home with grade 2 students about registering for First Confession and First Communion. If your child has not received these Sacraments and you would like them to, please reach out to the school and we will send you registration forms and information. There will be an information meeting with Father Ikedi on November 20th at 6:00pm in the library for all families planning on receiving the Sacraments.
Bubble Gum – the kindergarten team will be selling bubble gum on Thursdays at lunch for 25 cents.
Vendor Sale – the Catholic School Council is hosting a Vendor Sale on Saturday, November 23rd from 10 - 4 at the school. There will be vendors, Santa will be available for photos and it will be a great opportunity to support the St. Jude Catholic School Council. All of the money raised goes towards our students. If you know of a business interested in donating to the silent auction or know a vendor interested in purchasing a table, please reach out to CSC Chair Jodi-Lynn Brannen.
Hot Lunches – this week we are starting hot lunches. On Tuesday and Thursday we will be ordering from Foodland and on Wednesday we are ordering pizza. Orders for November have already been finalized. Orders for December will open towards the end of the month.
Progress Reports will be going home to families on November 19th. Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held on Wednesday, November 27th from 4 - 7pm. Parents will be asked to book a time to meet with their child's teacher.
