Hello Parents
Gaga Ball - You may have noticed that your child is wearing a new bracelet. Many students between grades 3 and 8 have completed their gaga ball course. They have earned their bracelet that allows them to play gaga ball.
Sacrament Prep – letters have gone home with grade 2 students about registering for First Confession and First Communion. If your child has not received these Sacraments and you would like them to, please reach out to the school and we will send you registration forms and information. There will be an information meeting with Father Ikedi on November 20th at 6:00pm. The meeting was originally scheduled for the library but it will now be held at the church. A letter will be sent home on school messenger to all families.
Bubble Gum – the kindergarten team will be selling bubble gum on Thursdays at lunch for 25 cents.
Vendor Sale – the Catholic School Council is hosting a Vendor Sale on Saturday, November 23rd from 10 - 4 at the school. There will be vendors, Santa will be available for photos and it will be a great opportunity to support the St. Jude Catholic School Council. All of the money raised goes towards our students. If you know of a business interested in donating to the silent auction or know a vendor interested in purchasing a table, please reach out to CSC Chair Jodi-Lynn Brannen.
Hot Lunches – last week we started hot lunches. Things went well from a school perspective. There was some confusion with parents not knowing what days hot lunches were happening. Hot lunches will be included on the calendar in upcoming months.
Progress Reports will be going home to families on November 19th. Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held on Wednesday, November 27th from 4 - 7pm. Parents will be asked to book a time to meet with their child's teacher.
We will be asking parents to attend a meeting with the director of education next week on November 27th. An invitation will be sent to all parents on Monday morning via school messenger.
